Your prompt for JusJoJan January 10th, 2022, is “chocolate.” Use the word “chocolate” any way you’d like. Have fun!
My day did not go exactly how i planned, but things worked out for the best in any case.
I decided to call Jefferson Dental after seeing the commercial several times. I told them i wanted to get my teeth cleaned and that my other dentist wanted to do a deep scale cleaning, which I have had before and did not want to go through again. What I didn’t know was how much things have changed as far as the equipment they use. Once I heard the price and how short the procedure time would be, I decided to go ahead and do it! SO WORTH IT!
The stains on my four remaining real teeth (all my teeth are capped) had become very dark due to wearing a night guard. She totally removed them, and advised me of the best toothpaste to use to keep it from happening again plus prevent new stains. I told her I use special gum protection mouthwash right before i put the night guard in and she said to keep doing that too. I am so happy with the results, even though the injections to get me completely numb were the worst part of the whole procedure. After my insurance pays, my out of pocket was only $200! At my regular dentist, it was way higher.
She told me if I didn’t feel like eating tonight, to just drink a (chocolate) milkshake, which I happily did. (She didn’t really suggest chocolate, but what else would I choose as a chocoholic.)🤣 I felt like it was my reward for doing a hard thing, plus I still have the protective stuff she put on my teeth until I brush it off later tonight. It feels horrible, like I haven’t brushed my teeth in a week, but she said it was necessary and good for my teeth. (I managed to eat some tortilla soup also).
When I got home, more good news! I called a different vet than my dog’s normal one, and asked about pricing to get HER teeth cleaned, which she has needed for a looong time, and it was about 1/4 the price of her regular vet. First, she has to get checked out to make sure she is healthy enough to get her teeth cleaned. Then if she checks out, we will schedule the cleaning. I am so excited and hope that will fix her ”death breath” lol! I hope she doesn’t’ have to have any teeth pulled.
I have a technical question now. My editor is running so slow, I’m wondering if it is because of all my old posts. I mean, I have been blogging since about 2016, and never have I deleted any old posts. What am I supposed to do with those? Is that why my editor is running so slow? I type away and have to wait for the words to catch up, sometimes five or ten minutes!! Help! Thanks in advance!
