Darswords commented on her blog the other day that she loves coloring on her Zen coloring app. Me too, but mine looks different from hers. Then, yesterday, I discovered why. The same company makes many different coloring apps.

Oh, my! I’ll never run out of books to color online! I love to do it at night when watching tv. I understand it’s rather gratuitous, it helps no one and isn’t really productive, but it’s so relaxing and I love looking at the “artwork” when it’s finished!

Today we went to Cortez because we needed groceries, and that’s where the nearest Walmart is. Much cheaper than the Mancos grocery. On the way, I snapped a photo of the mountain range where the dwellings are. Originally, before we went to Mesa Verde park to see them, I thought the dwellings were in that square looking edge of that cliff. It was only after we visited we realized that they are down in the cavern, deep inside the park…away from the elements in other words, which makes a lot more sense.

A couple of days ago, we walked what I like to call “the long walk” down the axillary road, to the main road, and up the hill back home. We saw deer in the wood to the right of our RV Ranch.

Dave took photos, then edited them for the close-ups. There are also elk in the foothills that we can sometimes see behind our RV Ranch. I’ve never gotten a picture, you’d need binoculars to see that far!
