This morning we set off to the place where we have the motor home stored to look around for a dump station.
That didn’t happen, so we went and saw the guys at Texas RV to inquire about getting it into the shop to repair the rear end damage that was caused by the golf cart in Port Aransas. They can get it in Friday. On top of that, the insurance company finally heard back from him and they will pay for the repairs, yea!
We tried to go by Vilma’s salon to take pictures so she can put it up for sale on Craig’s List, but she was busy. I went back later and she had gone to the bank. Finally, we got together around 5:30 and I took some pics on her phone, thinking I’d left mine at home. When I got home, I saw it in the slot where I put it in the Jeep. I’d forgotten that fast! Ugh.

I hope she likes them, I lighted and enlarged them a bit because on her older android, they looked dark.

In between the trips to her salon, I went to visit my friend Stephanie and meet her temporary caregiver, Iris. Her dad took our picture because I’m terrible at taking selfies.

We had a nice visit but it’s never long enough. ☺️
She told me she got to go see the Christian rock group ‘Petra’ at The Gas Monkey or near it…it may have been across the street. Anyway, she said she really enjoyed that blast from the past! I didn’t realize they had been around for so many years! I need to check out a video and see if I like it. She described it as heavy metal Christian rock. Sounds right up my alley.
It’s always nice to spend time with her and her dad, Iris was nice but doesn’t say much. Her brother Brian was there too, and I don’t see him very often, so that was nice.
All in all, a good and somewhat productive Monday!
