Since last week, Dave and I have been squeezing in a walk at some point during the day.
Sometimes I go by myself, sometimes we walk after dinner together, and other times, like today, we take a nature walk away from our area.
The first set of pics to share are of some of the Halloween decorations people in my brother’s neighborhood have set up.

I’m sure there will be lots more to show very soon. We saw the folks in Colleyville were paying for companies to put up lights and decorations. (That’s how you do it when you have lots of money to spend.)
The next set of pics is from our nature walk we took after lunch in this adorable Colleyville nature park.

I was disappointed to see how low the creeks and ponds were, but trust me, it will rain some day and they will be wishing it would stop!
There were at least three ponds and paved as well as natural trails. Doggie stations, play areas, landmarks, etc. More cities should incorporate nature trails in wooded areas instead of spending millions on new ball fields, and building brand new stores and restaurants instead of rehabbing and reopening old, or failed ones. ( just my opinion).
