Inktober ‘23 #31 Fire

It wouldn’t be Halloween without a burning witch, right?

Ahh, we’ve come to the end of Inktober and I completed most of the challenge. It’s been a fun month and I’ve enjoyed the challenge, but hope to be better by next year.

We are booked at spots all the way to Waynesville, NC and I’m so excited. We leave Thursday morning so we have been busy with all that it takes to get ready to get back on the road. I even secure a booking (albeit an expensive one) at a RV Resort in Florida for at least December. Now I can meet my half sister and spend time with her if nothing else!!

Dave is healing nicely and if I can just keep him from hitting his head, by this time next week, most of the swelling should be gone and the scar a little less red. I still sort of think he should pass out the candy tonight, haha, just kidding. We did get a little bit just in case we get kiddos. Kevin is out of town on business, so we are free to do this, where he would be a Halloween grinch, lol.

It’s been a busy two days so far, yesterday we went out to the bus to take it for a fill up, and the supposedly fixed awning came loose and partially opened. I heard it banging against the side of the RV. We had to pull over, get the ladder out and secure it with straps until we got it back to the storage place.

Dave worked on it more and thinks it’s now secure.

Today we went back out to get the bus and bring it here so we could clean the inside up and get it ready for loading up what we absolutely don’t need until Thursday morning, but we have a lunch date with friends an hour away tomorrow, so it won’t be work, work, work all day.

I hope you all have a scary good time tonight, HAPPY HALLOWEEN 🎃 👻

      2. Thank you, Anne. Painting, drawing, and Diamond Art give me plenty of challenges. ☺️ I used to make jewelry as well, but I doubt I could work with those tiny seed beads anymore.

    1. Meh, we had about 7-8 groups and barely put a dent in the treats. It’s ok, my brother will give them to the kids at his church. ☺️
