What a Show!

Yeah, the Super Bowl was ok too, lol.

I’m talking about the halftime show where Usher entertained us in the best way he knows how. I had previously watched CBS talk about how long, and hard he practiced on those skates for that show in Vegas.

I like that he gave all credit to God and dedicated a song to his mama.

But it made my day to see him do his most famous song, and bringing all the stars that helped make it big to help him sing it. I loved it and it made my day.

Now, I know many of you have no idea who any of those people were…or maybe you do. I’m very well-rounded in my musical tastes by the way. My kids were actually who turned me on to Usher, Lil John, and Ludacris when my Chris was young.

It brought back all those memories, and then to have his crush Alicia Keys come out? Wow! (Chris’s crush, not Usher’s).

Congrats and hail to the Chiefs, can’t hold em down!!

In other news, we’ve been having some fine weather and several pool days in a row. Not getting much darker, but kicking around in the cold water has improved my back for sure.

I caught the turtles on the bank of the pond the other day, and this afternoon I saw a tree frog in my camp chair.

I also happened to catch the lunar eclipse tonight too, just in time!

Sorry it’s a bit blurry. This was as it was re-emerging.

Now that I’m feeling better, and the days are warming up, I’m really enjoying our time here. I’ve made some new friends that I hope stay connected so we see them again sometime, somewhere, just like Arizona.
