Thanks to all my family, friends, Facebook friends and especially my husband, I’m so grateful for a wonderful birthday!
Thanks to Dave, I have a new iPad to replace my old one which was getting difficult to charge, a delicious lunch, where I also enjoyed a coconut margarita, and a birthday flan.
We had made a trip to West Palm beach to go to Best Buy, because he had ordered one, but it didn’t come today. He canceled that one and said, “We’re going to go to Best Buy!”
Off we went, then they didn’t have it in stock, so we went to a second store and we scored! Lunch afterward was at La Bamba, where we had been before, and we were their first customers.
He spilled the beans to the waitress, and before it was all over, I had people singing to me a special Spanish song, and was then presented with the flan with a candle in the center.
My Facebook feed was packed with lovely memes and other birthday wishes, some friends, some family, all appreciated!! Friends around the park also wished me a happy birthday and I got to spend a couple of hours poolside after a quick dip.
I heard from my bro and all three sons! One called Sunday in case he was busy today, but he texted today. Another called super quick to tell me, promising he’d call later when done with work. And one texted and said he’d call later.
Finally, I’m grateful that at my age, I woke up to enjoy it at all! 😘😂
