A-Z Challenge F is for Fiesta & G is for Grateful

Before I share The Sunday Message, I need to catch up on the A-Z Challenge. I’m afraid I missed F and now need to do it and G to be caught up?

So, without further ado, I’ve decided that I’m honor of Kevin’s birthday, F Is for Fiesta! 🎉🥳

We won’t be having a big party, because I didn’t have time to plan one. However, there will be family, a special guest, great food and (thanks to the bake sale) lots and lots of desserts to choose from!

I’ve asked everyone to bring at least a birthday card, I can’t expect much more from kids that are broke most of the time. I didn’t get a gift either, because we are supplying the dinner and bought all of the ingredients. As you know, food is expensive these days, so that is a gift in itself! Plus, the atmosphere will be very festive indeed when family and guest(s) get here!

Today I’m submitting that G be for Grateful!

I am grateful to be here at Kevin’s as a home base- not only as a place to stay, but because I can attend his church in person and get better connected to the message and a tiny bit of fellowship while there. I don’t know many people yet, and I haven’t become a member either, because we travel and therefore, I wouldn’t be able to be as involved as I should. Yet as you know, my part is to share the message on my blog posts every Sunday.

Maybe some day when we get another house, I can find a Bible Church that we both (Dave and I) love. Then I could be more involved. I like the message, I like that they do mission work, that they have several groups to be a part of study, and many other aspects of the church.

I’m also Grateful to be “home” so we can spend time with Kevin, the kids, and all of our friends at one time or another. It’s been a roller coaster for a week with all of the above on top of necessary doctor appointments, And errands involving getting the bus repaired.

Hopefully, I’m all caught up now and I can enjoy the day, after posting the Sunday Message and catching up on my Spanish! I hope you all have a fun and blessed Sunday And feel grateful to Be alive and enjoy it!
