Saturday evening we went to our friend Gary’s house for his Happy Birthday to Me party.
Luckily, my new sister-in-law took plenty of pics. So I’ll do a gallery for you.
We had a lovely time with everyone before Buba & Naz had to leave today. They also came to yesterday’s Sunday dinner.
At the party we enjoyed Gary’s legendary brisket, plus some ramen and cabbage salad, fruit, and I tried a sliver of tres leites cake!! There was lots more other meats and sides, but I’d had a head-sized hamburger for lunch.
By the way, we have our departure date-May 30th.
We will head to Amarillo for the first night, then Albuquerque for the second night, then land in Echo Basin, Colorado. We have our furniture in except for a dining room table and chairs. The backsplash is 80% done. Hopefully, our generator temp sensor will arrive tomorrow, but if not, we are going anyway. Dave has a fix where we can still use it.
