Proverbs 8:22-36 A Vintage Skill

Ever looked at creation? Marvelled at a flower and how perfectly numbered its petals are, or how they measure the same length?

Well, before today I thought Proverbs was pretty boring. It goes on and on about wisdom, how it’s always been here, always been available, always been evident to us.

That is why it is vintage. It’s old. The Lord possessed it Himself, and brought it forth into Creation. He used skills that we can see through math. (my worst subject)

Consider this: everything in the natural world can be measured by the Fibonacci sequence and always divides down to 1.6! Your face; how far your eyes are apart, the distance between you lips and nose, etc.

Your fingers. Look at your finger. See how it’s divided into three sections? Each section is 1.6 longer than the next. Your finger nails. Same thing.

I. Wisdom is an Eternal and Communicable Characteristic of God. (8: 12-13)

So, don’t just gain wisdom, gain Christ!
