It’s been a busy week sor social activities and game play! I tell you what, I feel like a winner!

Tuesday night, we had dinner at J. Fargos with Florida friends, Karen and Scotty. They had just been through Utah, and parts of California for a whirlwind week of monuments and museums. I actually remembered to have a picture made!

Tuesdays and Thursdays we play Mahjong in the mornings and Hand and Foot at night. My team won Tuesday night. ☺️

Wednesday, we had a ladies lunch back in Cortez, at Tequila’s. What a fun outing! We all got to know each other by saying our names, where we were from, and one thing about ourselves. I announced that I was a rocker, which surprised everyone. Clearly, they haven’t been by our place when we are sitting outside.

Still, I felt terrible later, because I should have said that I am a Christian. That is the second time I’ve failed such a test. God, please don’t let there be a third! I’m obviously not serving in my role well enough.

Again, a picture got made!

This morning, I was riding high after winning three games of Mahjong! I was hoping that would carry over to games tonight but should have quit while we were ahead. Kim and I won the first game but lost the second. Oh well, can’t win them all!
