This One Needed a Name
I was at it again today but not until the sheets were washed, the black bean brownies were made and the picture was hung.

I purposely left it loose and stringy, and colored it as close to the water colors used in the original as I could. Map colors are not the same and I’m not crazy with the results, but it’s not terrible.
Ok, yes it is. Maybe I’ll go back to Zentangle and work on that a bit more until I get the hang of smooth shapes that start to come naturally. I might not have been in the right head space for this today, even though I worked and the work flowed with the music.
I don’t feel great today, so things felt a little forced. Storms are coming and the weather is turning cold for a few days. Not sure if that’s causing my pain or the fact that I’ve been eating about a quarter cup of gelato nightly for about a week…those that know me know what sugar does to me.
I’ll tell you one thing though. Doing these has got me noticing the shapes of everything lately. The fan palms outside my windows, lotus flowers, triangles, ovals, squares, circles -you get the picture. Maybe that is part of the process.
Anticipating spaghetti for dinner. At least my brownies are a low sugar-high fiber dessert for after. I need to get a new pan because mine is slightly bigger than what was called for, making the brownies too thin. They tasted good though! ☺️
Happy hump day everyone!
