Sunday Brag

I did a bit of painting practice yesterday and I had to share because I’m a bit proud of this one. I know I’m not supposed to, but shouldn’t you be proud if you like the results for once? I slowed down and took my time, and I think it helped. Still need to practice more on the palm trees, but I’m getting better. It’s just on the practice pad paper, but I could stick it in a frame easy enough I think. I’ll try to reproduce it onto a canvas once I perfect the palm trees. I think it’s a matter of the right brush as well as the technique.

What are you working on? Share it with me in the comments. It’s chilly and wet here, starting to finally feel like fall. Stay warm and cozy and I’ll be back later with my Inktober post for the day. ☺️

  3. It is really good and I agree you should brown away to get confirmation on how well you are doing! Slow and steady wins the race! There is no reason for you to feel rushed doing your paintings! When you are on the road it will be tough to do the paintings is what I am thinking? Or is it my when you are my cruise and you to not feel the waves that the water? But you can start doing it again once you stop? I think you did wonderful! Friend of mine from college sold her paintings on Etsy? Something to think about when you feel confident about your paintings! I think she did it for a fundraiser or something like that! I bought one, but I have no idea where it is. It does not match any of my decoy now anyway. I would definitely buy a small canvas of that one with the palm trees???

    1. Awww, thanks. I would never charge you, my friend! When I get better I’ll paint you a bigger version of that or would you like a small one? Oh, did you ever put your coasters up?
