Hobe Sound and Linburger

We decided to go explore Hobe Sound and I’m so happy we did! We saw three different guys windsurfing, so we sat in our beach chairs and watched them for a while.

I’m going to try and put pics and vid’s in the gallery and we’ll see what happens.

Just as I figured, the videos won’t show up in the gallery. I should have edited the photos to show the surfers better. Sorry.

This beach is evidently a big draw for the windsurfers. The waves are big and it’s very windy. You really have to know what you’re doing, and brave the (to me) chilly water and high wind. I did stick my feet in and it wasn’t bone chilling cold, but combined with the wind, I would have been freezing! Dave said I’d probably get used to it, but we’ll see if I get better and attempt it one day!

It was difficult for me to walk in the sand, but Dave went and got the chairs after first walking out to the water, down the hill of course, and back up once. We rested in between trips.

After that, we drove along the road that Tiger Woods lives on, but we didn’t know which house was his at the time. It’s not marked that we could see, no cute little tiger mailbox or anything, lol! Huge mansions and beautifully landscaped properties all down that road though.

We were ready for lunch by this point and found ourselves at Lindburger, a nod to Charles Lindbergh-they serve fresh burgers, dogs and a whole lot more. I had delicious fish tacos and sweet potato fries, and Dave had a chicken quesadilla with bacon and cheddar and onion rings. So delicious and fresh and I’m STILL full! It’s 7pm and that was at lunch!

Tasty cod with aioli sauce and fresh veggies.

I complimented that with a well-made Paloma. Yum!

I think the fact that they were fried fish and I ate too many sweet potato fries added to the fact that I’m still so full.

Once back home, we watched the golf tournament and I worked on my Diamond Art painting.

I love my new light kit!

I had a light pad before but left it in storage, so I ordered another from Amazon and it came as a kit with lots of extra supplies like clips, stands, containers for jewels and more. For like $16!

It’s been a good day and my back is hurting no matter which way I sit, so I’m going to try to relax and settle in for the night. Have a great weekend everyone!

    1. I’m so glad you are enjoying the blog, that’s what I was hoping for was for people to enjoy it. We are loving the life right now, but sometimes I almost feel guilty about it when I see all the climate disasters, and war going on in other countries. All I can do right now is pray…a lot!

      1. Yes, I understand, and me, too. It’s distressing seeing all that is happening now. But your blog is important. It brings joy to those who see your pictures and read about your travels. It’s nice to escape in your posts. 🙂 xo
