Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is: “photograph.” Use it as a noun or a verb or both. Have fun!
Ok, just following Linda’s orders this morning as I attempt the SOCS prompt for today.
I have the proof that we had a fine day with my sister Barb and her hubby Frank at Juno Beach! Yesterday was the warmest day of the week so far, and they finally had a Friday off!! We weren’t about to waste that precious time together, so she suggested a beach day and I wholeheartedly agreed!

After a fun day at the beach (I didn’t get in the water by the way, too cold, too rough, and saw too many man-o-war) Barb wanted to take us to Blue Pointe Bar and Grill. It’s a cool beach club with a live band and a heated swimming pool! Great food (except the oysters), dance floor, and -as it turned out-super breezy off the bay dining. No way we’re we getting in the pool when we needed a sweater to fight the chilly air before they lowered the see-through plastic panels.
The singer was pretty good and he was to be followed by a live band-turned out it was one we’ve seen before at our resort’s clubhouse -Hurricane Breeze, but we left before the band because it was time to get back and feed our fur babies.
I REALLY wanted a souvenir shirt with logo Tropically Impaired, but they didn’t have my size. I’m to go back at the beginning of the week if I want to snag one.
This morning we woke to the loud squawking of a great heron who was roaming around the park. Not sure if he was lost or injured, he walked up and down the park streets, making his weird sounding call. I should have recorded it, but I did get his photograph!

Any time I’m this close to a beautiful bird, I have to get a photo! People were tossing bread to him, but that is not what you’re supposed to do. Do not feed the wildlife signs are everywhere in Florida. Ugh, people!
