The Sunday Message

Its our last day here before we hit the road again, so today’s message will be short and sweet.

It comes from the book of (Mark ch. 11:1-10) as he asks Lamb or King?

I wrote down the three sticking points but after reading them, I think I should go from last to first in order to make it make more sense.

In verses 8-10 he asks “Do we prefer Him to meet our FELT needs or our TRUE needs?”

Do we love the same Christ who reveals Himself?

Lastly, Be like Jesus in your leadership because He gently releases His power.

Happy Palm Sunday everyone!!

Be the Lamb!! Don’t lord over your flock like a King, meet the TRUE needs of your flock and gently teach them about who Jesus really is. Not who they’ve conjured up in their minds.

I’ll end with a prayer request; Please pray for us to have a safe and uneventful journey back to Texas! 🙏

We’ll have enough to deal with when we get there!

Another note: I may or may not be able to give the message next week, because we may be attending a wedding Easter Sunday. (Hey, I didn’t pick or plan it)😁😜

  1. Good message for Palm Sunday. I didn’t get to church today because I had a fall. But I am okay. Praying you have a safe trip home.

      1. Thank you, Kim. I’m feeling much better today.

I’m not sure what happened although I do have a lot of dizziness. It might be medication related, not sure. But I just fell beside my bed onto the floor. The Mister was only a few steps away in the bathroom shaving, thank goodness. 🙂 🧡🐈🌷

      2. My friend is dealing with something like that where she stayed dizzy so long and it affected so much, she had to go in for many tests. It was somehow nerve related not her ears as i suspected. Better get looked at if you continue falling!

    1. We had dinner and yes it was great, but i do wish we had had the time to go back to her house and chill, but they were exhausted. It’s been a heavy couple of weeks for them since she’s been dealing with awful kidney stones.
