Random Photo Drop

As we try to get things ready to leave Thursday morning, its storming like crazy and making things difficult or delayed. So I decided to share some pics from yesterday and this morning before things clear up and we get busy.

A tiny salt & pepper shaker Kevin brought us from a hotel.
Approaching storm last night.
Weather map of us getting pounded this morning.
Doggies loving the rainy morning.
Them listening with me to my verse by verse Bible study.
Morning ritual where Dave pets and wrestles with the girls.

Kevin went on a quick visitation trip to Mexico with a few members from church and brought us back these adorable coffee mugs! They go to Reyenosa a few times a year for pastor’s conference, house building, etc. But never get the chance to just visit with the people, so that is what this trip was for.

We start loading up the bus tomorrow, so today I planned to pack all unnecessary clothing up to make it easier to load the bus tomorrow. As soon as the rain stops and I can fetch the suitcases from the jeep! Then random things to take care of, like getting meds ordered from the VA that are difficult to order because they relate to pain management. Getting dogs in to vet for flea and tick meds so they are protected at the dog parks, etc.

Please pray for all the families affected by storm tragedy over the weekend. Several devastating storms have killed many in their path the last few days. 🙏

Have a terrific Tuesday!

  2. Very sorry to hear about the storms. I’ve been following their path, given how enormous it is. I hope you have clear skies to get loaded and get going. Travel safe.

    1. Thank goodness we got loaded and on the road before encountering all the storms. Luckily, they weren’t devastating, and our trip has been good so far! Looking forward to landing in Colorado tomorrow. I’m behind on sleep, so blogging may come later.

    1. It sure was! I’m definitely having to keep up my daily stretching and exercise from long hours sitting during the drives and the frenzied packing beforehand! So far so good, but one of these nights, id sure like at least 6 hours of sleep in a row. I’m beyond tired!

I like them because they hold a little more and the cup doesn’t get so hot it burns my lips!
