Yesterday, Dave wanted to drive out to Grapevine to visit Bass Pro Shop in search for a new grill cover for my brother, whose old one got chewed up by varmints. Dave had bought him that one the last time we were here.

If you’ve never been to a Bass Pro Shop, there is a sitting area full of all kinds of interesting things to look at. I couldn’t resist taking a picture of just one wall!

We didn’t find the grill cover there, but Dave had gift cards to spend, so we came home with beef jerky, summer sausage, and a big can of mixed nuts! 😜😂

He is so funny, that man of mine. He won’t buy himself something like sunglasses or clothing, he buys food.

After that, we were bad and visited our favorite Mexican food restaurant in Grapevine; Esparsa’s.

It is also beautiful and has lots of interesting art and other things to look at. We shared some nachos and had one of their famous margaritas.

We ended up finding the grill cover at Home Depot, but hey, at least I got some steps in visiting all those places!

Later, in the afternoon, I took a walk around the neighborhood to work off some of that lunch and get more steps in.

Now, we are at “home” waiting for the dogs to get done at the groomer, which they sorely needed!
