Miscommunication

Well, its been a day so far. First off, I misunderstood Dave’s comment about coming home to find a place. He should have said, “To start thinking about looking for a place.” He probably figured a month and a half wasn’t long enough to do that with everything else we had to do. It makes sense, but I had taken him literally.

Secondly, the VA has royally screwed up my prescriptions, so when I went to pick one up, the doctor had not received the message I sent saying I would pick up in person, so she mailed them out. Luckily, I was able to get 10 days worth.

My other medication I needed has been discontinued by her for no apparent reason.

I requested a new doctor today. Evidently there is a language barrier, she doesn’t listen to me, or her nurses aren’t getting messages to her properly.

Now I have no idea when or if I will get my arthritis medication. Its like a constant miscommunication lately.

It’s been a frustrating day so hopefully this afternoon will be better. The VA is supposed to call me so we can straighten out the medication snafu, and the dentist is also supposed to call so I can get in to see about my bad tooth.

Feeling fat and bloated doesn’t help my disposition either, so maybe a long walk to clear my head is whats in order. 😘

I did get that pic of us to load so I can share that!

Gee, I wonder whats making me fat, lol!

  1. Everyone I know who gets their medical care and prescriptions have multiple issues with the VA. It’s a constant revolving door of frustration for my Great-Uncle and his partner. They’re aging and he cannot deal with them nearly as much as he used to. It’s aggravating to read about and learn about from so many people. 🥺

Hopefully, they’ll get it all sorted out soon.
