Since we’ve been home, we’ve been knocking out our massive to-do list, but I’ve been busy with creative endeavors as well.
In the last month, I’ve painted two more pieces, a Thanksgiving gnome for a friend, and a wave for my brother which I put in the bath window like a suncatcher.

My critique is that he’s not fat enough.

My wave is not curved enough and the lighting from the sun on the water needs work. But that’s why we practice!

I’ve written three different pieces, one for RVAdventures and two for other pubs or contests. I also drew a couple of pictures for Inktober that were so awful, I didn’t bother anymore. The talent was stunning this year, including a couple of my friends’ art that was entered.
And, as some of you know, I entered a photo in America’s Favorite Photo competition just to see how I’d do. I think I’m currently in fifth place. However, there are lots of cute pets in my group, so you know how that will probably turn out.. Voting is free, so try this new link.
At least I did something. Good or not, I tried. I just wish the muse stayed with me. Creativity is something that happens for me when I’m in the right mood.
Today is cloudy, misty, and cool. Its a lazy day and we are just hanging out watching tv. Oh, Dave fixed Kevin’s mower, he even bought the needed parts before putting them in! But other than tv, my exercises and hopefully a walk, its just a turn down day.
Tonight, we dine with friends at Frijoles that we haven’t caught up with yet. 😁
