The leaves blanket the ground as we sped down the country road this morning. We looked at waterfront, waterview, and lakeside communities. We know what we want on a property, what we need, and what we are willing to pay.

The feeling when you find the perfect next home is like a warm blanket to me. Starting something new, in a completely different place, some full of potential and some, perfect as they are. I love the searching. Thinking of the possibilities.

We saw properties that looked good in the listing, but live and in person, not so much. I hate that feeling of being mislead. Anyway, we saw affordable places close to the water, which is surprising. I mentioned before, we have a budget and I intend to make us stick to it. Some properties that were a low price showed it, others seemed like a good deal.

Robert will be here tomorrow and we will guide each other around looking at the ones we’ve put on the list. This area is so vast around the lakes, it takes a while to see all the places available.

The weather has been chilly enough here that we are using heat and blankets. Then again, under 50° is cold to me! 🤣😂
