Just this morning I was thinking we better get some groceries soon. We were out of water, eggs, lunch meat, cheese, cereal…

Anyway, my thought was to go straight there but the hubs had other ideas. After “our” win yesterday, I didn’t care if we went in any more casinos, but he wanted to go to the Hard Rock. Its a cool place whether you play or not.

We luckily came out even after playing about an hour, and then we went and got food and stuff.

Not sure what the girls are up to today, but ill be ready if they call to go do something. Jamie was babysitting and Shelley was too, so maybe later they will holler. Until then, we are just hangin out.

It’s emotional being here without my parents and the stories they used to tell about where they used to run around together before so many hurricanes devastated the area. Its hard to remember what it used to look like now.

I’d look up some history, try to locate my birth father, or other stuff, but I wouldn’t know where to start. I need to visit some other cousins and friends who live here from the old days.

Hmmm, add to to-do list.
