We have been home since Monday evening, sorry to wait so long to let you know.
On the way home from Florida, we had some difficulties, but now that the bus is in the storage facility, we can begin the work to repair what’s broken.
Let me see if I can tally it all up. Somewhere between Florida and Biloxi we had a leak in one of our leveling jacks, waited five hours for a mobile mechanic to come and bandage the situation until we could get home.

Somewhere in Louisiana, after crossing the Mississippi River, we hit a massive crack in the road, prompting our center set TV to jump out of its frame and dangle perilously in between us as Dave drove down the road. I managed to get up and grab it, sitting on the dash for support, until he could pull off the road and disconnect it!

We get here to my brother’s house, and partially unload the bus for the night, being beyond tired. David goes to lock up and the entire deadlock assembly falls out in his hand! He managed to open the passenger side window, unlock the door, and just relocked the bottom lock.
So…yeah. We also had problems with the front room air conditioner, so that will also need repair. He is going to try to do what he can himself and save some money. He also had designs on another bit of remodeling -to put new countertops in. We will see based on all the repairs that need doing.
Short story is, we will probably be here a month, which also gives us time to see some friends and family as we can.
Stay tuned!
