The New Countertop and Sink

I’m so sorry you guys, I forgot to show you the final results of all of Dave’s hard work. Here is the gallery including the “love bite” from the jigsaw.

The mess from cutting through the Corian still needs to be cleaned up.

He said after returning from his morning out there today that he plumbed everything, but needs a different part to make the sink drain work? I’ll have to see it to understand.

Not looking forward to field daying the bus for sure, but that countertop is worth it. It will never buckle, warp from heat, or crack.

It is heavy, however, so I made him promise me that everything will be balanced and safe before we hit the road.

In other news, Wes and Julie joined us for dinner the other night-Friday-and she brought the most fresh and delicious strawberry cake for dessert. It was made with sugar-free components like Jello and Cool Whip, so I was a happy camper.

We dined on gifted leftovers that my brother dropped off-almost an entire BBQ dinner which fed the four of us nicely.

      1. I don’t like the word “cleaning”, so I approve of field daying.
