Well, I am so happy that the prompt from Linda is curl.
Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “curl.” Use it as a noun, use it as a verb, use it any way you’d like. Have fun!
Ladies and those gents that might care, I can finally curl my hair with something other than foam rollers! This is exciting news since I cannot hardly roll my own hair in those things.
I saw the lady recommended to me by the hair stylist I went to last year in Dolores who set my hair on the road to recovery after a different lady (bless her heart) burned it off accidentally.
My hair has always been the source of my frustration. When I was young, it to as long and thick. Now that I’m old-er, it is fine, thin, and easily damaged. So, anyway, she trimmed it up and sold me a product to put on it before I use heat of any kind on my hair. Then she said to come back in a month or so and she would assess it to see if its ready for color.
I know some of you are tempted to ask, but why? Why do you feel like it needs to be colored, to which I would say, “Because. That is the only time I get to enjoy thicker feeling hair that behaves the way I want it to. When I’m blonde, it also hides my thin to near bald spots.
Curling, gives my hair a little body. I don’t own a curling iron but I do have a straight or flat iron. Those can also be used to curl the hair. But be quick and don’t let it stay in one place place too long or risk burning it.
Now my hair has a tiny bit of bounce and body and for that, I’m a happy camper. 😊

it would have been a better picture if Dave took it. You might be able to see the curls and feathers after curling.
I do like the new product though, it smells amazing.its called Kendra Platinum. You just spray it on damp hair before blow-drying or curling.
