Ethical Dilemmas and Money Pits

Proverbs 28 6,8, 10-11, 13-14, 17-20
I. We Must Respond to Internal and External Ethical Situations With Wisdom (1, 10, 13, 14, 17, 18, 23)
False leaders who try to change the minds of good people will come to a bad end. The blameless will receive a good inheritance. Do what is right.
Matthew 18-6 says: If anyone causes this who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and be drowned in the sea.
Prvetbs 13 is basically saying confession is good for the soul. We have to continually confess our sins to receive mercy.
14 says blessed are those who fear God. We need to have an awe and referential respect for the Lord.
Those who’s walk is blameless will be safe but those who give in to perversion will fall into the pit. Obviously, do not support one who commits murder.
II. We Must Respond to the Downsides of Money With Wisdom. (6, 8, 11, 19-22, 24-27)
Stay honest. Better to be poor and blameless than dishonest gain.
Don’t try to seek justice, injustice will ultimately be dealt with by God.
1 Timothy 6 – 17 says Command those who are rich in this world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.
19 Hard work produces food to eat, but chasing fantasies produces poverty.
Trust in God and not ourselves for financial gain. If things are going well, it’s because God put things in motion for that to be.
Dont fall for the get-rich-quick schemes.
Being generous will serve you better than being stingy.
Read Mark 7: 8-13
Those who walk in wisdom stay safe.
