We get really bored when there’s not much to do except watch TV, so we get up and go do something. Whether it’s a walk in the neighborhood, or at the mall, I can’t sit long due to my back.
One day, while Dave and Chris were out of town this week, my bro Kevin and I went to Painted Tree. It’s what I call a booth mall. People have all kinds of rented booths that they put their wares in. Some people actually have vintage things in there, but the finds are unique in many of the booths.

Today, we went to a car museum off of Meachum in Ft Worth. I didn’t even know it was there, my bro suggested it. I get overwhelmed with too much to look at these days, so I got tired after about an hour of walking. However, 8 took pics of some of the cooler looking cars.

A man named Sturgeon owns the entire collection! It’s called DFW Car and Toy Museum
Thats the other benefit of getting out and about, even trips to Walmart add to my daily step count. Sometimes we go to the mall specifically to walk.
Add these trips to my 30-minute daily walking workout and I’ve been averaging 7500 steps a day, which they say is all you need to reduce your chance for heart disease.
I was talking to an old friend on the phone today and mentioned that no matter how I feel, I pųsh myself to do the steps and stretches because if I stop moving, I’ll stop moving! She said she understood that completely and her motto was wear out, don’t rust out.
Saturday night, we went to see Creed and Hinder at Winstar Casino and Resort. I don’t think I shared any pictures, so there’s a few. Both acts were very good and we thoroughly enjoyed it! I’m so grateful that my friend Michelle gifted them to us.

Unfortunately, my other pics were actually vids, and WP won’t let me post those. Maybe I can post them to Facebook.
