Mobile food pantry

Community Outreach

My church participates in a sort of community outreach with their Mobile Food Pantry one Friday per month. That Friday this month is this coming Friday, it will be a cold one! They are calling for a low of 38 and a high of 52. I will be there, however, as long as it’s not raining!

Outreach is defined as “providing services to any population who might not otherwise have access to those services”. I believe that my church’s mission to provide food to the needy in our community is a perfect example!
