Share Your World Monday

Hey it’s Monday (lunes) and I haven’t answered Mel’s questions in a long time! If Suze can do it from her back yard sta-cation, so can I!

Mel has once again asked……..and we obligingly answer. Why not join in on the best weekly challenge, ever?

Mel’s Questions:

What’s something you really resent paying for?

What was the most unsettling film you’ve seen?

Do you judge people?

Finish this sentence: “Back in my day, we…”?

Water! In bottles of course. Water coming out of the faucet is a different thing, we all have to pay that bill. My husband works for the water department, so I understand the reasons for that. Electricity too. But water, in bottles, especially at some kind of event like a concert? Hell no!

The most unsettling film I’ve seen is The Passion of the Christ. Seeing what Jesus went through was more than I could take, Mel Gibson made darn sure we understood the unbelievable torture and agony that man suffered to save our souls. I couldn’t sleep the night I watched that movie, it upset me so bad.

Yes, I’m sorry to say, I do judge people on first sight, even though I could be completely mistaken, it is human to make a judgement based on appearance. Not proud of it, but I do. Most of the time, my assessment is accurate, because I consider myself a pretty good judge of character.

Used to care about appearances. Sorry, but the world has gone to hell in a handbasket, and this coronavirus thing is only going to make it worse. People have been given “permission” to sit around and watch tv in their underwear, eating mindlessly so it seems, and I predict an obesity epidemic is eminent. I’m sick of seeing people in pajamas at Walmart, or sagging pants that look like the guy is wearing a skirt, hanging off his butt and showing me his underwear. Tattoos all over their faces or every inch of skin pierced, as if they never intended to get a job in the first place. (Sorry, but you asked ;))

This week I am grateful that I got to attend a baby shower and see some old friends I haven’t seen in a long while. I love my husband and family, but sometimes, it’s nice to see other people as well!
