Writing

SoCS on a Sunday…Better Late Than Never!

All day yesterday I kept thinking, I need to write my SoCS, but we were busy all day long with one thing or another, so here it is, nothing like I originally planned, and better later than ever.

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “spot.” Write whatever image the word “spot” invokes. Have fun!

I had the best idea for this post yesterday, then never got around to it, now I’m in a bad spot. I can’t remember what I was going to say for the life of me…something about how some coffee would really hit the spot right now, or maybe it was more about my breakfast. Who knows? This is what happens when you procrastinate, you forget your ideas.

If you were in my head yesterday, it would have sounded like this: “I really need to do my Saturday Stream of Consciousness post, but first, my Spanish lesson. I’ll make my coffee, clean the kitchen, then sit down and do that. I wonder what Dave has up his sleeve for today’s errands. I am not going to have time now, I need to get ready to go. Well, ok, maybe when we get back home I can write it…no, I should do my typing lesson, but it is Saturday and I deserve a break.” So what I ended up doing was getting in the pool for a while at the same time Dave was working out, then I worked on my Diamond Art project for almost two hours-while I had the extra time-then the next thing you know, it was evening and we ended up playing pool and listening to music, just like we did Friday night. Oh well, I did have a diet root beer float or two, the adult version, and those really hit the spot! I guess it turned out to be a good Saturday, even if I only accomplished one or two bits of productivity.

OK, well my computer is acting up. I can write but not add photos, or tags, so maybe I can finish this on my iPad. Ugh…technology!

Nope! I tried so, sorry. No pics or tags today! We must be in the tail of a comet.
