Writing, Writing Prompts

WOD Challenge 02-2-21

I know she does not read my blog, (or is even aware I write one) but I want to wish my oldest sister, Vicki, a Happy Birthday!

Now, onto the word of the day challenge and see how to use the word of the day.

The world renowned Punxsutawney Phil did indeed see his shadow today while we here in the south are still listening to the musical psithurism of the foliage blowing through the trees. Well, so much for an early spring, although, he did also predict a beautiful spring once the brutal winter (6 more weeks) is over.

Today I can report that I’m feeling a bit better, the ulcer is shrinking and healing up, but I still feel dizzy and somewhat disoriented. So, I started taking off brand Zyrtec to see if that will help. The doctor thinks I have something viral going on, because of the ulcers and because I said I feel like I have a low-grade fever, yet nothing registers on the thermometer. I will probably take it easy one more day, and not drive anywhere until I’m over the dizzies.

I still managed to do a load of laundry and bake Dave’s egg cups for the rest of the week. I may bake the leftover boudin mixture we had left after making the sausage, just to have a taste and see how spicy (or not) it is. I hope you all have a great Tuesday, enjoy the warmer weather if you’re lucky like us, and someone please go slap that damn groundhog for me, will ya?? Just kidding, I know we need winter to kill the bugs but you all know how much I hate cold!!

Okay, peace out!
