Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Earth

What a great challenge for my pictures this week!

Part of Lake Fork before we got to bass camp.

This first photo shows dirt where water used to be because when we got to Lake Fork we saw that sadly it was super low due to them draining it while they work on the dam.

Sunset on Lake Fork, Texas.

This one is a late sunset as we were fishing from the bank of Lake Fork… isn’t it frightening to think most of the stumps are covered up with water? Good thing today’s boats have technology that shows them where they all are.

Cee’s challenge is about Earth, so that includes all the elements-Earth, water, fire, metal, wood, and I have a picture of all of those elements after my recent trip to Lake Fork.

What do you see in this photo featuring water and wood?

This photo shows a dock with a guest next to it and water, of course, from Lake Fork. This dock is across the pond from the property we were visiting during Bass Camp.

I wanted to show pics from the bonfire; I had really god slo-mo shots, but my iPad is not pulling them up, grrr!

The nightly camp fire at bass camp and our friend Bruce.

Bass camp takes place in Yantis,Texas at Lake Fork. I was invited to go with my brother-in-law and his wife, who we are super close with, and had a blast. I was just disappointed that Dave, my hubby, couldn’t make it up.

The bonfire pics I wanted to show had metal in them so it turned the fire really pretty colors, but maybe because they are slow-mo videos, the iPad won’t bring them up in my selection options.

Since you can’t photograph the wind I will just tell you we fought it the whole time we were there! During our chartered fishing trip, where Connie and I caught 20 fish, when we were fishing from the bank, and the cold wind was making my eyes pour water the entire time, and as we were driving to and from Bass Camp, as it pushed Connie’s truck all over the road.

I guess this picture will have to do for metal, it’s the fancy table they have set up for eating crawfish at Bass Camp. those big black things are holes where you’re supposed to throw the trash into a waiting trashcan, but they were low on trash cans this year so we used plates.

I have to close with a bragging shot of all the fish Connie and I caught; these are Crappie. This is also a metal table.
