I walked to Robert’s Point Park early this morning to catch the sunrise.
I walked along the ship channel until I got to the elevated observation structure and actually took video of the sun coming up.

I took so many pictures of the water, birds, and boats going out to fish. I left around 6am and returned around 7:15. The water is so pretty in the morning, the birds are active, and the fishermen sail off early to beat the heat of the day.

A series of shots featuring the ship channel, the harbor, the marina birds, boats, and of course the sunrise!
I love this new pattern of rising early and getting my two miles knocked out before the heat of the day.
Here’s some photos of other things I shot on the walk there and back.

This last pic looks as though I’m sitting on the rocks but I’m actually on a bridge over the marina.
I took a picture of the sign leading into our park, I’d never seen the lit up anchor.
The dolphins are out front of the nearest souvenir shop-Bay Quest. The backs of the three fishing boats out of Deep Sea Headquarters, where we used to go on chartered fishing trips. We haven’t done that this trip for obvious reasons.
Of course, I had to include some palm trees.
