One More Thing -SoCS

As if to add insult to injury, the canopy to our living room slide out broke this morning. 😮

We’ll have to work on fixing that in the morning. It figures, because this is just one more thing to go wrong when we are getting ready for moving day.

When we were leaving Arizona, our steps wouldn’t retract. Dave had to secure them underneath the bus until we got to New Mexico. However, he fixed them, just like he’s fixed most of what’s gone wrong on the bus.

Now, this time, the bus will have to go to the shop to repair the broken things resulting from yesterday’s incident. If you haven’t heard, a guy with a two-seater golf cart backed into the rear of our parked motor home.

I’m confident Dave will be able to manage hooking up the Jeep, even though the tow bar sustained some damage. We will find out tomorrow evening.

If you’ve seen the prompt from Linda G Hill’s stream of consciousness post, you know the prompts for the day are one/won. So on that subject, the best things I’ve ever won was two tickets to Paul Simon’s concert and a jackpot at Winstar Casino. That was a while back, but it added some small funds to my savings account. What my dad left me made up the rest. Now if I win all the money I’ve supposedly won playing this latest solitare game, that would be amazing! I’m not banking on it though, most of these cash games are scams.

I hope tomorrow I have more pleasant news after we get together with our old friends. ☺️

    1. Thanks, but we are getting through it ok so far. Got most of our space cleaned up and the basement packed. No more beach but that’s ok, we just cruised down it on the way to the store and we’ve never seen it that crowded…even on the 4th of July!
