Not so long ago, I bought some acrylic paints and used them to paint my bird creations, remember, from the devils claw?

Well, after watching countless YouTube videos, I wanted to try painting on a small canvas using a new technique.
I took a stab at it yesterday, failed miserably, but that’s what practice is for, right? To learn how and then get better each time. Now, I only bought one little canvas at the Dollar Tree, so to practice, I’ll have to go get more.
It was fun even if the results weren’t what I wanted. I guess I could try to polish it up, or change the design slightly, but I think I should just try again. Maybe with a little bit larger canvas, so I don’t run out of room!

It was supposed to have more ocean and show a way to demonstrate reflections on the water. Oh well, try and try again!
This was after working all morning hanging pictures, cleaning out my brother’s freezer and rearranging it, and doing the same with some of his cabinets. It’s looking better around here already! I even straightened up his tool bench while searching for some Molly bolts. Those I needed to rehang a heavy shelf of his with horns and hooks on it-but I didn’t rehang it yet. I need one of the guys to find the stud first I’m told. I also got my TEMU order which had a stick on towel bar in it and I put that up too!
No wonder I’m not feeling quite as industrious or creative today. That and the fact I’ve had a couple of sleepless nights in a row!
I had so much more I wanted to do, but tomorrow is another day! ☺️
Have a great weekend everyone!
