Before we ate lunch today, I went to visit my friend Vilma at her hair salon and plan what were going to do with my hair later next week. I have had no cuts or color since the last time she saw me.

She had exiting news: She is moving to The Woodlands (near Houston) to have a salon there and build her own church. I will miss her, yet I’m so happy for her. She has wanted her own church for a long time. She is needing to sell the shop, however, and asked me to come in next week and take pictures so she can try to sell her shop on Craig’s List.

This afternoon we are going to a pool party at an old friends house to hang with them and David’s brother. Gary, the friend’s house we will be going to, is kind of party central if you know what I mean. It’s way more low key than in the old days, ha! We are all getting up there but they love to entertain and host parties.

We will be eating again, so my lunch was light, a pbj and sweet potato chips called Uglies. I love them! They are low salt and very crunchy and delicious.

I’m sure I’ll practically bath in sunscreen because we will be in the pool all afternoon. Y’all enjoy your Saturday and we will too! Don’t forget your spf and sun hats!
