Well, folks, we are here in St Augustine, Florida and would have had the day to go explore before pushing on to Jupiter tomorrow.
Just a week or two ago, I was walking two and a half miles with Anne several times a week, and today I couldn’t walk around the RV park. I’ve been having pretty bad nerve pain in my back, but I was feeling better if I stood up straight and walked. Now, not so much.
When I was visiting with my cousin Edie, we were laughing at her huge lab sitting with me in a chair, but I was kind of twisted for a minute or two then sat on my butt and he eventually got down. Then we went to her son Lance’s house for dinner and I was as I had been, hurting but able to walk.
Later, Edie drive us to that park and I noticed the trouble then when I couldn’t walk through the park unsupported. So, did I throw my hip out or is the sciatic nerve shot or both? I keep thinking moving around is the answer. Stretching, ab exercise etc., but I can barely stand up straight now.
So here we are in historic St Augustine, and I guess because of that, and because Dave doesn’t want to drive the Jeep a lot until we get the oil pressure sensor fixed, I’ll be looking at the inside of the bus…just like yesterday. It was pouring rain anyway. I’ll be glad when I can get to the VA and see what is going on!
Maybe I can finish binge watching Big Little Lies. It was such a great book, but the series has been so much better!
