As usual, the weatherman kept us concerned most of the day that we would experience nasty storms and even possibly tornadoes, and while a lot of the nation did, we are all safe here. We got a little rain and barely a wind gust. Lucky we are so far south.
My heart goes out to all that experienced much worse. I haven’t seen the news but read in my newsletters about the devastation across a path from Texas up the eastern seaboard.
Today we have much cooler wear there after a very warm, humid day yesterday. Too bad I didn’t feel like getting out to enjoy it. My mornings are great, then progressively degrade throughout the afternoon. By last night I was feeling a scratchy, itchy throat…hope I’m not getting the upper respiratory junk that’s been going around. But after Saturday night sitting with lots of people in an open air tent listening to a band, the night air might have gotten to me. I’m going to try to show a video of the dancers that night.

Anyway, I feel better this morning, just a little warm like a low-grade fever and a mildly scratchy throat.
How did all of you fare during the storm? I pray all of you are ok!
