For me, since I never went to the beach in anything like this, it reminds me of that time we actually owned a VW bus and the day my husband and toddler son Josh pulled up into the driveway. Out jumps Josh holding a prosthetic leg! I’m standing there trying not to laugh, because I know that they’ve been to visit Dave’s friend John. “Look what JP gave me Mama!” Josh proclaimed.
I just looked at Dave and shook my head. “Why? Why would John give my baby a prosthetic leg to play with, the shoe is even still attached!”

According to Dave, it was because John had an extra and Josh thought it was neato! 😂
