One-Liner Wednesday-Not Beaten

What happens when you’re 63 and fall off your bike in the gravel. These are from over a week ago when I got back on and rode four miles!

  1. Girlfriend, that does not look too good. Is it bruised a little more today or is it starting to get better? Christina and I went to HEB today and we got $75 worth of groceries, OUCH! They have these deli meats salmon products that we really love but they were all out of stock! The one I love is spinach and Parmesan cheese stuffed salmon (the low-carb one), and and dad loved the smoked something. We both had them before, and really really like them that people must really like them because they were all out of stoc 😦 At least I did it groceries that we could eat because we had nothing! At least we are not subject to reading fast food!! Got off the subject sorry about that. Hope you feel better, how are you feeling? Love you bunches and bunches! Will you be here through Christmas?

    1. No, sweetie, I’m afraid not. We are due back in Florida by Dec 1.
I’m with you on the grocery thing! Ouch the prices! And I know how it is to find something you like and then it be out of stock. 😡
I’m feeling better but still have bad days. The bruises are healing up and I can’t wait for a time when we can go riding again, if I feel strong. I told Dave that on my walk I stumbled twice and he said that he better start walking with me because he’s scared ill get hurt. That’s how it goes.
I’m hoping when we get to Florida, I can get another nerve block injection.
I love you bunches too, girlfriend! See you as soon as we can!

    1. Yes ma’am, but ill wait a bit to get back on it now that we are home in the suburbs. Too much traffic here and potential for hurting myself again.

      1. So dangerous in the burbs! Too many lights and no one is looking out for the bikers.

      2. There are nature trails, but you must bike to them a short way in traffic and that scares me yet.
