Yesterday it had been preplanned that I would get to go visit Shellie at her home. I knew she lived with her oldest son Mason, and had since her husband Jeff got so sick.
But I didn’t understand the arrangement until I got there.

So if you look at the area behind the cars, the garage, it’s been converted into an apartment of sorts, and Mason lives there with his wife Kayla and a friend of theirs. His daughter Evelyn has a room of her own on Shellie’s side of the house.
Mason works from home, and we got him to come out for a break so I could hug him and take his picture. He was in the kitchen and Evelyn followed him in, so I only got a quick pic, but you can’t see her face. Sorry. I had not seen Mason since he was a small boy.

The kitchen has baby gates up to keep the two doggies out of the other rooms. One is in heat -the french bulldog- so it’s less messy that way.
Eventually, we dressed her so she could come visit with us.

LaLeaux loves everyone!
I wanted to ride down the beach road with Shellie in her convertible Saturn Sky, so we picked up and hopped in the car. I snapped a pic of Shellie much to her disappointment, she wasn’t made up yet but she is beautiful either way.

Jeff passed away on the 1st of November after a two year battle with cancer. He was only 48.
I wish I’d have met him, he sounded like a great guy. They did everything together, like Dave and me.
Shellie, Jamie, and her hubby Ray will meet us later after they get off work to go eat a last dinner together because tomorrow morning, we’re off again on our way to Florida. We called ahead and found we get to arrive on Friday instead of the 1st as planned.
Dave and I took a walk on the beach this morning, then made a small “donation “ to Treasure Bay casino which used to be on a ship in the ocean, but after Katrina, moved across the road.

I will definitely take pics this time because I forgot when we were at Jamie’s house the first night we were here.
