Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “stop me if you’ve heard this one.” Write whatever comes to mind when you think of the prompt. Enjoy!
I know this is supposed to be a writing exercise, but when tears come from laughing at an image, I just have to share. And since my subject is the RVing community, some of you mightn’t “get” the jokes otherwise.

Oh, how I miss living in a house with one of these! As you can see, this is not feasible in a motor home.
Now when it comes to emptying the tanks, when you are a newbie, mistakes are not only inevitable, but the fear is anyone catching you making them. I’ll have you know, even as a newbie, my hubby never made this one.

A general no-no in the community is rudely watching someone park, which is a stressful process to many who are new at it. Last thing you want is the neighbors watching as you cuss out your life partner when he or she is only trying to ‘help’! Egos are damaged, and perceptions are set.
Cleanliness is also the butt of some jokes as we get the reputation of not showering or bathing frequently. So stop me if you’ve heard this one:
Full-Time RVers never die! They just smell that way!
Well if you ever had a wet body full of soap and shampoo in the winter when the water suddenly lost heat, or stopped running completely, you wouldn’t be eager to jump back in there either! I abhor being cold and wet, so I solve this by dragging the space heater into the bathroom area with me when I shower.
I’m horrible at telling and remembering jokes so thanks for humoring me and letting me use these memes to say what needed to be said.
