Good afternoon everyone. I hope your Easter has been as blessed as mine!
David accompanied me at church today, a blessing in itself, and we were so impressed by the glorious sounding music of the choir and the orchestra working together in concert for the Lord.
Pastor Blalock spoke on Daniel 6: 16-23 today and the similar references to the stone. When Daniel was thrown into the pit that was the lion’s den, he was never expected to come out. The stone was rolled over and the pit was sealed and witnessed attested.
Yet the next morning, the stone was rolled away and the sun showed through it! Just like Jesus rose from the dead after three days, Daniel was also saved from a certain death because he believed in God.
I guess it is a Baptist church, but all are welcome and no one is made to feel like they don’t belong. Guests are encouraged to let their presence be known so they can receive a pamphlet and pen welcoming them to become a member, or simply learn more about Beacon Baptist.
I noticed David got his. He enjoyed the service.
Like Daniel and like Jesus, I hope you see the light and come to know the Lord if you haven’t already accepted Him into your heart.
If you would ever like to at least enjoy the online serves at Beacon Baptist, here is the details. Beaconbaptistchurch.org

Happy Easter everyone. If you are lucky to be with family today, enjoy what a blessing that is. 🙏

Don’t tell, but this is actually last night’s photo. Let’s just pretend it’s sunrise instead.
(It was a lucky shot, as it was taken over my shoulder while walking down the road being pulled by a dog. 😉)
