My Baby’s Home!

Chris, on the plane with scared boy in the background.

Here is proof that God answers prayers! Our trip was delayed but then Chris got “sent” home and we get to visit with him while we get our business done. Amen!

Evidently, they had to fly through storms last night and the child next to him was scared or mad or something, so he covered his head with a sheet. 😂

Im so happy he is home, regardless of the reason.

For one thing though, he is required to go home (or somewhere) every month for five days, this has not happened for six months, so it was time!

He was physically and mentally beat, due to running jobs in Nc and Sc with no help, no supplies sometimes, and the fact that he was never trained n the special aspects of this new position didn’t help either.

He was a project manager at Belfor before going to Cotton, but they have a different way of doing things, a different computer system, etc. They just threw him to the wolves basically. Stuck him out to sea without a paddle.

He has other prospects and opportunities if his job has ended, but I’m not sure it has. Just that he needed a break and his boss recognized it due to poor performance is what I’m gleaning from our conversation.

In other news, Dave removed all three remaining hydraulic leveling jacks yesterday and took them to the machine shop to be rebuilt.

I was hoping to go to the VA today and get our needs met but Dave wanted to wait until tomorrow…not sure why? 🤷‍♀️

    1. Thanks, Tre.
He is a joy to have home, but it isn’t all good. He is unemployed at the moment, but he will get something soon. He has several offers.
