A great time was had by all once we finally all got seated at our on-site Bar and Grill last night. We ended up sitting with mahjong pals Judy and her hubby, John, Kim, Rick, and Kim’s mom, Carol, and Lots more including Chuck and Sherry, Erin and her hubby.

We enjoyed taco salads and margaritas, even though they weren’t on special unless you had the taco dinner. It was boisterous and hard to know which convoy to follow -there were several going on at a time!

We that play games spilled over into the game room once dinner was over and the party continued in there. I am learning the game Hand and Foot which is a lot of fun. I did well, pretty much tying with team two on the first game then winning the second with my partner, Carol. We were allowed to bring drinks in, and I had another.

I guess because it was a 4 second video, I can’t show it here. Hold on.

See that bowl of a snack called crack between Sherry and I? Well, we had some at morning games as well! It was a sugar-laden, carb filled day yesterday, so I did an extra physical workout yesterday. Not one of the Fabulous 50’s but a different lady that was very young.

Anyway, the snack is nuts mixed with chocolate, peanut butter, and butterscotch chips. Rich, sweet, salty, and delicious!

Today, I walked around taking pictures of the decorations people put up around their sites, to be patriotic and to win the $400 prize canopy.

The first two pics are Chuck and Sherry’s place. The next are just a random picking on my walk. I need to take a longer walk later and see if I can Fi d some more. Not sure yet, but hoping to go see some fireworks tonight, maybe from up on the mountain again.

We watched the parade come through, but I can’t post video here. Besides, I screwed it up and videoed sideways. So in Facebook you can see it, but its sideways. 😜

I hope you all remember why we celebrate and have a fun and safe 4th!

There are many events planned for today and tomorrow. If we decide to participate, ill try to remember to take pics!
