I’ve looked back a few posts and cannot believe that I forgot to show you some new families here at the park.

Here I’ve been hoping to spot a bear, because everyone else I know has seen one but me, when instead-as I walked one afternoon- I spotted these wild birds, what looks like two families, at the rear of the park.

As I sat on a nearby bench taking pics, my next-door neighbor in the park was jogging by and made a comment. I looked up, surprised to see her, and she told me she had seen them several times and figured it was two separate families.

Maybe if I could stay up late or get up before dark, I might spot a bear, but since I can’t, I won’t. Its definitely too chilly these last mornings to crawl from my warm bed before dark.

This morning however, I was up before 5am, despite being heavily medicated last night. Maybe it’s knowing my friends are coming to visit and play Mahjong with me this morning! I get to see them at least once more before we have to go h9me. 😀

Sherry mentioned that they also wanted to go to lunch at a new burger place in Mancos, so hopefully we get to go do that as well. 😋

We have received most of the mail that’s coming, so now all we need are our contacts, then we can pack up and start the long trek home. I may not be happy about it, but Ive resigned myself to the fact that it must be done if I’m ever to get my health care straightened out.

Just in time for me to turn 65 and be eligible for Medicare 😁😂🤣 (Well, not til March, but still…)
