Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “smooth.” Use it any way you’d like. Have fun!
Well that was a smooth move posting Praise Song Saturday on Friday, Smyth! I meant to schedule it for Saturday, but I got in a hurry and pressed publish!
Oh well, I hope you liked it anyway. I was telling my friend, Stephanie that I’m so in love with all the music I’m listening to and rarely go back and listen to the old stuff unless I’m in the car. It’s just so cool to me that heavy metal music can be used to praise Jesus!
Things are going smoothly and little by little we are filling our space with necessary items. Dave’s birthday was Wednesday and I felt like I was buying out Walmart trying to get him some things for the house and for him personally. He never makes a deal out of his birthday but I like to. They should be special.

We got Whiskey and Brandy groomed this week and now they are smooth, sleek, and cute as a button.
I took myself to the park Friday and took lots of pictures and that broke up the mile walk a bit but my hips started to tighten near the end, so I did a couple of squats and made it to the car. You wouldn’t believe all the flowers that are blooming currently!

I took my cane for support and protection if necessary, but all went smoothly, no worries. I thought I’d be hurting today but my lower back was as it always is. It was the area up near my lungs that was awful today and I think that’s just still sore from the results of food poisoning.
Today we went to Beaumont, only because we wanted to go to Lumberton and get more from the bus but Dave ran out without the bus keys. 🤭
While there, we visited the old Parkdale Mall and it seems to still be doing well. Ours back home is a ghost town. We also went to Best Buy and Dave got a great deal on an open box TV for the bedroom. A 40” for $98! Then we got it home and there were no cords! Luckily, he can and will return it next week, and meanwhile he went to Walmart and got the same TV. He had to pay more, but it had almost all the parts. Whatever it was missing, he must have had, because it’s working fine.
