Good morning and thanks to SPARKSFROMACOMBUSTIBLEMIND for today’s questions.

Pancakes, waffles or French Toast as your breakfast favorite?

French Toast used to be my favorite, but now that I’ve discovered Chaffles, they have quickly become my favorite breakfast staple.

Do you think a person’s name influences the person they become?

No, however, I have noticed that some people’s names seem to fit with certain traits…at least in my world. Like I know all James’s aren’t bad, but all the ones in my life were. All Britney’s aren’t bitches, but several I knew were and so on.

Would things get better or worse if humans focused on what was going well rather than what’s going wrong?

I think the world would be a different, more positive place if people focused on what was going well instead of dwelling on what was going badly.

Is math something that humans created or something we discovered? Is looking at reality mathematically an accurate representation of how things work?

I’m no math wizard, but I think it was discovered in cave walls by the Aztecs or something. It hurts my head to wonder about the second part of this question, accurate as it may be.

Gratitude

I’m grateful for my family, being able to come together for Sunday dinners still, and for helping each other out during this difficult time.

Weekend Writing Prompt-Antipathy

Ok, I know the weekend is over, but Dave is off and it still feels like the weekend to me! So, I am going to participate in the challenge shared by Mathew (Blog of the Wolf Boy) who got it from Sammi Scribbles-this weekend’s prompt is Antipathy.

Antipathy is defined as a deep-seated dislike or aversion to something or someone. Since I can’t come up with anyone I feel that way about, my answer will be aimed at the animal kingdom. Here goes:

Wasp, hornet, some kind of flying, stinging insect

HORNETS

You fly and you sting

On paper thin wings

Summer haunter, thing I  hate

Conjurer of visions so painful to relate

My brother screaming from your attack

Spraying poison; PAYBACK!

That was hard to put into only 30 words, but that was the challenge. Hope you enjoyed it. We have had a bad summer this year, fighting those nasty things. I’d love to know God’s purpose for making such an evil insect!
