Last Call

Today’s prompt for JusJoJan and SoCS is the last combo prompt for the year, and it’s a difficult one for me. Being home 75% of the time, I don’t get many calls unless they are from family or doctors having to do with myself or my dad. I don’t get calls from businesses, I literally looked through my phone to find one!

What I DO get are lots of spammers, spoofers, and otherwise scammers, trying to pull a fast one on me. My husband clued me in to an app that puts a stop to many of those calls, but it doesn’t stop them totally. It’s called Hiya, and it identifies the scammer and alerts you so you don’t make the mistake of answering the phone.

Most of the time it does a pretty good job of letting me know…even in the car it tells me is the caller is a scam or not! So at least 50% of the spoofers, scammers, and spammers are blocked, yea!!
