I’ll take Jilly up on the whole Thoughtful Thursday thing with an announcement and a reminder that yes, I did get rid of my other blog (Alternative Lifestyle) but I left the Pinterest board up! So you can still go and get lots of tasty recipes, ideas, tips and tricks any time you want to right here!

Ignore the old website at the bottom of my profile, I can’t seem to get it off right now. I’m working from my iPad, not my laptop, so I’ll fix that later.

I guess I’m still getting over the virus because, while I feel fine, I slept in til 7:50 this morning! Ack! So much work to do and so little time. Never fear, I will make a dent in it, I always do. Naturally, because I took my other website down, I’m getting hit up by folks on LinkdIn now. 😔 It never fails, does it?

I had a horrible nightmare last night, maybe that was why I couldn’t seem to get up. Every time I woke, I thought of it again and pushed it away to go back to sleep. When I finally woke up, the doggies were excited, like they were ready to get out of that closed up room themselves! I won’t speak of the nightmare, but I do need to check in with my youngest. That’s all I will say about that.

I discovered a new recipe for baked oatmeal with no oats in it!! I’m so excited to make it, because it uses collagen peptides in the recipe and I actually have that for once! The recipe comes from All Day I Dream About Food and the secret is coconut and almonds ground to the size of oatmeal. If you check out my Pinterest page, l stuck it to my board. I’ll let you know how it was once I make it, but first I have to go to the store because I’m out of shredded coconut, darn the luck!

Well, that’s enough for now on this gloomy looking Thursday. What happened to the sun that was there when I woke up? It will be back later, along with a howling wind according to my weather app!
